What are mental disorders?
Mental Disorders are diseases of the mind. Mental disorders are also defined as health conditions that are characterized as alterations of thinking, behavior, and mood. Mental illnesses affect people from all nation and social classes. 40% of Americans will experince a mental disorder at some point in thier lives. 3% of those people will experince a mental disorder that will require hosplitization. Many people with mental disorders will refuse to seek treatment. There are different types of mental disorders. You will read about those as the weeks go on.

ReplyDelete40%! That number is unbelievably high! I don't understand how it's possible for that many people to deal with mental disorders. I always thought that it was just something very uncommon.
